Sizing Removal Process
Once you’ve removed the background, the sizing remains as a thin, transparent coating. To eliminate it, fill a bucket with very hot water and brush the water onto the wall using a big paintbrush. Scrape it a bit using the brush to start the removal procedure, but you will require a flexible metal paint scraper to have the rest. Run the scraper across the wall, keeping the grip at a very low angle to prevent the corners from digging in. As the sizing collects at the end of each stroke, wipe it away with a rag.
