Mildew is a kind of mould that grows in moist, shady places. Along with its ugly look and musty odor, mildew can pose a security risk when you must walk across its area that is slippery. Besides trimming any mild and improving water drainage in your driveway -blocking shrubs or trees, there is little you can do to totally avoid mildew. Clean your driveway occasionally to eliminate any mildew and keep it from returning.
Put on a pair of rubber gloves to protect your fingers. Fill a bucket and add 1 cup of chlorine bleach.
Dip a push broom or stiff-bristled brush to the bucket and use the bleach mixture to the mildew development in your driveway. Allow the mixture to sit to kill the mildew.
Scrub the -bristled brush.
Rinse the driveway completely using a hose. Direct the water movement away and toward a drainage location from grass or any crops.
