You will be so pleased to gaze upon your own new contemporary light fixture that you installed on your own.

We all know how to paint, we simply don’t want to manage the hassle of homework and clean up. However, do you really need to pay someone to do it? Rather than taking on a whole room, begin with one accent wall. It takes no time in any respect. I would rather not utilize the blue painters tape since it take so long to cut the ceiling and foundation boards, and paint appears to invariably bleed through anyhow. A steady hand will go a long way for trimming.
Note: in this paint job the door frame and foundation board were painted the same color as the wall to get a simpler paint job and a modern, uniform look.

On my own list: painting doors (black). I’m obsessed with the look of glistening black doors with matte white walls. I really need to paint my inner doors . And that I will. But there are 10 of these, and it means taking the door off the hinges and removing the hardware . Most doors would need to be primed before the paint is used. This is a bigger project, but it is not hard. One day I’ll inspire to get it done. Your remarks might help in that section.

Prep the wall by gently sanding it and removing switch plates, use thin-set using a trowel, press the tile firmly into the thin-set, let it set overnight, and grout the next day.

Another project in my head is swapping out — or dressing up — closet doors. We’ve got giant mirrored sliding doors that I would like to replace with contemporary frosted plexiglass versions. Even applying vinyl decals or wall paper to basic white closet doors is enough of a change to spruce up a bedroom.
